ABOUT ME

At an early age my patient and loving mother encouraged my creativity with a darning needle, some yarn, scraps of material and simple instructions to make my dolls new clothes.

Many years later, having embroidered, needlepoint, quilted, cross-stitched, Hardanger embroidery, petite-point, my designer bags began to appear.

I love changing colours and developing my own patterns. Matching materials and textures of each bag brings the hand stitched designs to life. My past work lends itself to natural fabrics such as cottons, linen, velvet and silk.

Each creation is unique. It takes time to look for the right fabric to frame my handy-work and line each bag.

After many years of creating, there are many Bag Lady Bags looking for a new home.
